What to send your website company
Ask them to:
Perform a WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility audit.
Provide a written report of confirmed failures, including the affected pages and recommended fixes.
Correct problems with images, navigation, forms, headings, contrast, and mobile accessibility.
Test the website manually with a keyboard and screen reader, not just automated software.
Review downloadable documents and third-party patient tools.
Retest after remediation and provide the results.
The Department of Justice specifically recommends combining automated and manual accessibility checks.
My recommendation: Have your Squarespace company provide an audit and correction estimate before agreeing to a recurring widget subscription. Your highest priority should be ensuring patients can access information, contact your office, and complete their paperwork.
One additional thing I noticed unrelated to ADA: your homepage has a "Read More" link for supplements that points to a Squarespace development domain rather than your main domain. I'd ask your developer to check that as well.
